Get a working USB keyboard and retry. Then use If your Apple wireless mouse, keyboard, or trackpad aren't working as expected - Apple Support to troubleshoot your wireless keyboard. If the replacement USB keyboard won't work, please try a PRAM reset. The directions for a PRAM reset are in iMac SMC and PRAM reset
