Touch screen stopped working on my iPhone 7.

The touch screen just randomly stopped working on my phone. I didn't drop it or anything...I have force restarted it but can't enter my password once I do.

iPhone 7, iOS 10.3.2

Hello,

Check your touchscreen

Make sure that your hands are clean and dry, then try these steps:

  1. If you have a case or screen protector on your device, try removing it.
  2. Clean the screen with a soft, slightly damp, lint-free cloth.
  3. Unplug your device.
  4. Restart your device. If you can't restart it, you can force restart your device.

If your touchscreen still doesn't respond like it should, contact Apple Support or take your device to an Apple Retail Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider.

My first 6plus did this to me. It turned out that the body was slightly bent (the entire chassis) and created a ever-so-slightly thin gap between the outer screen and the actual touchscreen. I had to twist it slightly with both hands to use the touch screen just to get it to accept inputs! Also, have you attempted to contact AppleCare? I would assume that it is still under warranty since you have stated it wasn't damaged. Hope this helps!
