Ipod won't work in my Scion tC

So I bought a Scion tC in July with the iPod radio. Everything was great until about 1 month ago.
We have (2) 5th generation ipods, a 60Gb and an 80Gb. The 60Gb is the one that has been used the most in this vehicle. It turns out the docking cable was bad and we replaced it yesterday. Unfortunately, I did not have the 60Gb ipod with us at the dealer so we could not test it. The ipod the dealer had worked and my 80Gb ipod works fine since replacing the cable, but the 60Gb will not work at all!
I upgraded the firmware on it to version 1.2.1 just like my other ipod, I upgraded Itunes to the latest version, I restored the ipod, and formatted the ipod and it still will not work in the car!!
Does anyone have any idea why this ipod no longer works in the car? It works fine but itself but just not in the car?

60GB 5th generation, 80GB 5th generation Windows XP Pro
