opened Safari. Did a google search on the cio of citrix and clicked on his LinkedIn profile. I'm getting a LinkedIn login page instead of his public profile. It was working fine two days ago.

Safari is working fine. I'm addressing the issue with LinkedIn as suggested. There LinkedIn Public profiles URLs don't work either in a plain search or clicking on them. I know they upgraded their LinkedIn app for iPad so not sure if there's an impact in other areas. However still should be able to see public Profile either way. It was working two days ago.
I had a similar issue on iPhone. When LinkedIn did the upgrade to their LinkedIn app on iPhone. Now when you search for a person and click on their profile it opens them up in the app. So that's fine. Their issue is with URL searches that don't work. With iPad the LinkedIn app was updated as well, still issue with URLs and the app is not opening the public profile. So seems like that may be the issue. I'm still waiting on a response to chat about it.
Remember that Google has a long memory. LinkedIn mentions this concerning converting a public profile to private. So the links served up by Google may be outdated, if LinkedIn has changed their system.
Interesting. Cause I tried it on the updated Google Search app and chrome app. Still same result. Even with an updated IOS with Safari it wounder seem to all work. Unclear why it was functioning two days ago. So when you say Google links may be outdated please clarify? Are you saying with the updating functioning of the LinkedIn app that there may be an issue with these outdated links? It works on iPhone it's just the URLs don't work on either but worked two days ago. I had even checked my own URL and it worked two days ago then not.
So, waiting for LinkedIn to identify root cause.
