how do I double-click with a track-pad?

Double clicking is done by going to System Preferences/Keyboar and Mouse/Trackpad and then selecting the action you'd like.

However, PS 6 will be more of a task!

If it's a Windows disc then you'll need to install a Windows XP on your Macbook either through Parallels or Bootcamp.

Perhaps another 'Mac Friendly' graphics program might be more suiting if you'd like to stick in with the Mac OS X enviornment. Check out these apps....

As troy mentioned, you have to go to System Preferences and pick the method you'd like to use for double-click. I, myself, prefer the double-tap method. That is, you tap on the pad twice with your finger. My husband prefers to click twice on the click bar beneath the pad.

It's all up to you--and either way, it takes a little practice. Most of us get the hang of it--but if you really find you don't like it, you can always hook up a portable mouse.
