I've had this problem before and fixed it by deleting my extensions, but I cant seem to find a problem when I conducted a etrecheck analysis and am having problems fixing it. Please Help. Thank You.

Hi,

That sounds more like a hardware issue. How many cycles does your battery have on it and what does it say about health? System Information > Hardware > Power > Battery Information > Health Information.

You can try resetting the SMC: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201295, but if that doesn't help, bring the Mac to an Apple Store “genius” bar for a free diagnosis: https://support.apple.com/contact

Click on the link I gave, and then on the Energy button. Select "All Processes"– like this:

Add or remove columns in each of these panes by choosing View > Columns from the menu bar. The View menu also allows you to choose which processes are shown in each pane:

All Processes

Anything standing out in the listing your getting?

I'm having a very similar problem, with the exception of overheating. This started happening about 3 days ago for no apparent reason. I haven't downloaded anything new or applied any major updates/upgrades. I've rebooted and running a small handful of apps: Safari, Mail, Calendar, iMessages, BusyContacts. No idea what the deal is.
