security breach question

Today I received an email from a Genius Bar Apple in Clarendon reminding me of

an appointment. I never made an appointment with Apple Clarendon. When I

clicked on the "directions" to store, the screen went to a Century Link page.

There is an attachment with this email. i did not open it. Is this some type of

security breach?

It would be more accurate to refer to it as an attempt at one. Since you did not open the attachment, just delete the email in the usual manner. No other action is required, or justified.

No breach. It's junk email or spam. I would delete it without opening the email if I were you. Opening the mail and tapping on the "directions" signals the spammer that you've opened their email. It's very likely they'll send you more spam in the future.
