I recently purchased an iPhone SE (before I had a 5 for so long..) and I noticed that it doesn't the contact's photo on the top of the iMessage chat like how it used to (example below) I used to have it before and when I upgraded it disappeared. I tried everything to bring it back but never could. Please help

Hi, I'm having the same problem, I have the iPhone SE, iOS 10.3.3 is installed. The option to display contact photos does not appear in settings. Could it be that the iPhone SE simply does not support the feature? Bummer.

Have you tried updating to iOS 10.3.3?
Here's the steps if needed:
Update the iOS software on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
Okay I am not sure if the contact photos were removed on the smaller iPhone models.
I would suggest contacting Apple Support as they should know more on this topic.
It's not possible on the iPhone SE. To display contacts in iMessage like that, you need an iPhone 6 or later.
