FCPX jittery stills using Ken Burns

I am having trouble eliminating jittery lines in doing Ken Burns effect on still images. They are in 1920 x 1080 23.98p timeline. This is a 114 minute documentary film so many video files not just stills. Images files large, 6000x4000 or 5000x4000, all 60p. These are scanned or downloaded images black and white line drawings. As still images they look good. When doing basic Ken Burns zoom in see jittery lines here and there. Horizontal pans in Ken Burns seem worse then zoom ins. Only see slight jittery on computer monitor. But when going to Blu-ray and watching on TV monitor or video projector quite noticeable. Using FCP 10.2.3, Mac Pro (late 2013), 3.5GHz 6 core intel xenon e-5. Hitting a deadline so any help to solve this appreciated.

Thanks.

Peace, Huey

You can apply the Gaussian blur. Set horizontal to zero and vertical to 1.

If you panning across it you might want to apply a little horizontal blur during the movement because of the vertical lines. There is unfortunately no proper motion blur effect in FCP. If you don't a lot of animation like this you might want to consider using the motion graphics tools of Motion, which will give you better control and many more creative options.
