I am trying to log onto a network with citrix and get the error message that I have not chosen to trust GlobalSign Organization Validation CA - SHA256 - G2.. How do I trust that certificate? When I check the system roots under keychain access, that certificate is not present.

Your company would somehow transfer it to you, then you'd double-click on it on your Mac. It will install into your keychain.
Or, perhaps it would be something installed with he Citrix client software install.
The company that I am dealing with "does not support apple" and they told me to google the answer. Today, however, I used by iPad to access the site and applications that give me the error message when I try to access from my iMac. Curious. I should state that I have downloaded and installed the latest Citrix receiver.
I agree. This is the same IT department that several years ago when I was getting error messages that said that my computer did not meet their security standards, told be to downgrade my system and use an old version of Internet Explorer. I guess I will just have to be inconvenienced by not having remote access for the time being ( except for my iPad).

By the way, there is no difference between a certificate for Windows and any other OS. It is an across-the-board standard. So, if you can get whatever certificate they issue to the Windows world, that will work.

If you are accessing some company VPN, then you'll need a key (i.e. certificate) from the company.
Sounds like your company IT are idiots, but that's not uncommon.
