Can a new iPad setup copy email settings from my iPhone?

I am in the process of setting up a new iPad. Yay!


In general setup has been very easy because of iCloud Keychain. I’m able to quickly log into all of my accounts and apps.


However, now it’s time to set up email. I have several email accounts in the Mail app on my iPhone. Is there any way to tell the iPad to just copy over all of those email settings, or do I need to enter them all myself by hand. (I don’t use gmail aol or one of the other service providers ios knows about, so it‘s fair bit of work getting each account configured properly.)

Congratulations on your new iPad! It's my understanding you'd like to sync email account settings from your iPhone to your iPad. I'm happy to help.

Email accounts can't be added by syncing. I know manually adding accounts can be a bit more work, the following links may help:
