iPhone 6S does not auto connect to hidden WiFi network

Devices Affected

iPhone 6S: MKRE2LL/A, 10.3.3 (14G5057a)

iPad: ML0H2LL/A, 10.3.3 (14G5047a)

iPad: MH0W2LL/A, 10.3.2 (14F89)

Devices working as expected:

iPhone 5S Model ME305LLA, 10.3.3 (14G5057a)

MacBook: MacBook Pro 11,2

Test steps:

1. Configure Airport Extreme with WPA2 security through AirPort Utility on MacBook

2. Connect iPhone, iPad, MacBook and a Windows laptop to the WiFi network with the correct security and confirm that all the devices are able to browse the internet

3. Open the AirPort Utility on Macbook and create hidden network (Wireless -> Wireless Options -> Create hidden network)

4. Reboot the Airport Extreme now and wait for it to boot up and Airport Utility on MacBook is able to detect the AP

5. Now Check if all the devices which were connected in step #2 are reconnected to AirPort Extreme automatically

Observation: Only iPhone 5S, MacBook and Windows laptop were auto connected to AirPort Extreme but iPhone and iPad didn't auto connect

Expectation: iPhone 6S and iPads should auto connect to the hidden WiFi network which was connected previously.

Note that iPhone 5S Model ME305LLA auto-connects to hidden network.

iPhone 6s, 10.3.3 (14G5057a)
