Urls in Message not linkified

Hi,

I am having some issues with the Message app on iPhone using iOS version 10.3.2 and 10.3.3, when a link is received in a message (Eg. Hey user! Check this out: https://www.apple.com and tell us your opinion).

If the Message application is running (active/background), when the message is received, the URL gets linkified, but when the application is inactive, when the message is opened, the URL is not linkified. This behaviour happens only when there is a single message containing a URL in the conversation with a sender. If there are 2 or more, then all the URLs in the conversation, are linkified.

Another unusual behaviour is with iMessages. When the sender is unknown (not in contact list), all messages containing URLs are not linkified, whereas when the sender is known, the URLs get linkified. This behaviour is independent if the application is active or inactive when an iMessage is received. The iOS versions on which the behaviour is observed: 10.2, 10.2.1, 10.3.1, 10.3.2, 10.3.3. Only on 10.1.1 the messages URLs get linkified always.

Any ideas?
