My husbands phone got a little wet, now it's showing no service or searching. We bought another SIM card after talking with our carrier. If I pop out the SIM card and put it in my phone the sim is working so we knownfornaurebuts not on our carriers side. It connects randomly ...

Sorry, but once water gets inside the phone, the damage starts, and it can't be stopped.

You may try to get it looked at by visiting an Apple Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider next to your place, but I'm afraid there is nothing they can do about the water damage, and you'll have to get a new phone.

Once moisture gets into the iPhone corrosion starts. The problems are only going to get worst as the corrosion increases. I suggest you take it to Apple and purchase and out of warranty replacement for it.
