"sudo: apt-get: command not found" message

"sudo: apt-get: command not found" message

Hi,

when I try to run the "sudo apt-get install build-essential python" command i get asked the password and once i insert it (correctly) it gives me this "sudo: apt-get: command not found"

I have already installed Homebrew. Any idea?

Since you already installed Homebrew, the appropriate command wou be something like:

brew install whatever-it-is-you-are-installing

No version of OS X, or now macOS has ever been based on Linux, and sudo apt-get install is treated as nonsense. Read the homebrew documentation.
