MAIL won't forward my attachments

This week, mail stopped forwarding my attachments when I forward a received email with attachments. I can save the attachements and attach them manually, but the forward function seems to strip them off. Any ideas?

John,

Other possibilities exist in Mail>Preferences...>Composing>Responding: Are there any changes if you make different selections in this area?

I noticed that you are still using 10.4.7. Any reason you have not updated?

I would recommend that you consider applying the Mac OS X 10.4.8 Combo Update (PPC), followed by Security Update 2006-007 (10.4.8 Client PPC).

More info - It seems that JPG are the types I cannot forward (.doc, xls, pdf all work)
Also - When I send myself one or multiple JPEGs, I can forward them with no problem

It seems that JPGs received from Windows machines received this year will not forward - I can forward emails received, say a month ago, that contained JPGs with no problems.

Did Microsoft change something recently that would affect this?
