I signed up for senior services coupons which unbeknownst to me created a Mail account on my iPad.
I want to get rid of this account it does not show up on my computer nor on my iPhone. I go to settings I will get mail there is no longer a mail contacts etc. with a delete at the bottom

Hi. You may have installed a Profile on your iPad. Go to Settings > General. If you find a Profiles entry near the bottom of the list, open it and delete the Profile. If you cannot see Profiles, then you do not have one. After deleting the Profile, you should be able to delete the account from Settings > Mail > Accounts (or it may disappear with the Profile).
Thanks much. I never even knew there was a profile, so these wonderful folks set it up. Deleting it did, indeed, delete the &*&(#$8. email account that they setup.
You're welcome. You actually installed it, no one else could. They probably told you to install it and it would make everything wonderful... Yeah, right.
