Does my battery drain faster when I used 5GHz bandwidth?
My Tp-link' AC1900 wireless router has 2.4GHz and 5GHz. As I observed, my mac air drain my battery faster when I use 5GHz bandwidth. Is that true ?

5 GHz equipment will be (slightly) more POWER HUNGRY than its 2.4 GHz counterparts, increasing battery drain especially in mobile devices.
