Deleting Current Song from Playlist on iPhone

In previous versions of the iOS, for the Music app, when you're playing a song from a playlist, the screen will automatically scroll to that song in the playlist page. This was helpful in that if I wanted to delete the current song that is playing from just the playlist, but keep it in my library. However, the newer versions of the iOS doesn't allow this anymore. It doesn't even give you any information on which playlist you're in. The old version also showed information on the number of song you're on in the playlist, such as 5 of 200, if you have a playlist with 200 songs.

I'm asking because sometimes I'm on a playlist and it plays a song that I want to delete from the playlist, I have no way of doing this other than scroll through my whole list to find that song to be able to delete it from the playlist. If the phone would automatically scroll to the current song, then I can easily delete it from my playlist.

Any help on this would be appreciated. Thank you.

iPhone 6s, iOS 10.3.2
