I exercise while listening to music with airpods. But what if it suddenly explode because of my sweat? I thought to myself.
Does anyone know if airpods have explosion-proof or heat-sensing capabilities?

Lithium-ion batteries do not explode. Media and reports have used that term too loosely and it has become perceptions that your device can turn into a bomb. If a lithium-ion fails the worst that happens is that it catches fire. This can be made worse depending on what material the device is sitting on when it caught fire. I'm sure Apple puts a lot of thought into the safety of their products. It wouldn't bold well for sales if peoples ears started catching on fire. 😉
don't think there is such a thing called explosion proof capability for any devices in this world
why would you think sweat would make them more likely to explode than air or fm radio signals ?
if you think the moist would shortcut the electronics then I think they made sure that don't make them explode
My question is not about the explosion potential of other electronic products. The power source of the Airpods is a lithium battery. Is not there a lithium battery in other electronic products?
Lithium batteries can explode as shown in the video below. So I asked.
The battery on the AirPods is small and shielded. It is highly doubtful that if it explode (which is rare) that it could break through the hard plastic that is used. Keep in mind that the AirPods are NOT water resistant and if you sweat l lot you will probably ruin them.
