iphone 6 screen pop out.

My iphone 6 screen popped out. Went to the show room and they pressed it back in after giving me a option to go for a new screen or a new iphone 6. Now i see there is a slight gap 1-2 mm gap between the glass and casing and if i press the screen, it goes away. Have been using a armor case for protection. How do i fix the gap ? The screen works fine. Having no issues with performance with the phone. Do i live with the gap? will the gap slowly damage the phone?

Thanks

iPhone 6, iOS 10.3.2

Hi Hary1980,

It sounds like your phone case may be bent. That would be the only reason the screen would not stay in, or it could be due to battery expansion but that is unlikely the case if they allowed you to leave the store with it. If it is bent then that would be considered accidental damage which is not covered under Apple's warranty terms. You may have to deal with it for now until you get ready to upgrade to a newer device, or go for the repair. If you have AC+ then the repair cost won't be too much.

Hi , Thanks for the reply. It's possible that the phone case might be bent. To avoid the same i brought a THULE Armour case at the time of purchase for the phone, since this model was prone to bending. well that didn't help !

Would this rotation of the metal casing be due to (any warping of) Armour casing or any other factors?

Hope fully the next model won't have these costly issue.

Thanks
