How can I save a PowerPoint file as an icon on screen so it opens and plays as a presentation

Hi everyone

I have a PowerPoint presentation that I want to save as an icon on my iPad so I just tap it and play rather than have to go into the app and find the file and then run it. As someone who goes around to visit customers Stores it needs to be slick one tap and run rather than multi clicks. Can anyone advise me how I can do it please?

Thanks

iPad 2 Wi-Fi, iOS 10.3.2

Hi. I don't think you can do that. iOS doesn't have files and file associations like computers. It has apps which manage their own data privately. You could open the app and the presentation before meeting the customer. Then it will be ready as soon as you unlock the iPad. Even if the app is in the background, with the document open, just tapping on the app icon will take you back to it.
