remove What’s new in Pages for Mac popup

It always helps to say what you are using.

Assuming it is Pages 5 or 6:

Menu > Help > uncheck What's New in Pages

I'm having the same problem in Pages, and also Numbers and Keynote. No check-box available to eliminate the "What's New" popup. Others have suggested creating and saving a new document as a possible solution. I've tried it...no effect. Any other ideas, anyone?

I am long past that point, so can't try this myself.

The menu item toggles. So can try once on, when open Pages, and once off.

Also do what everyone else has said here which is actually look at the features, then after a restart see if they still open.

For most applications showing this type of window there is a checkbox or a button, either on the "What's New" window, or one of the pages it leads to, labeled "Don't show again," or words to that effect.

Thanks, Peter. Yes, "my bad," I should've noted that I'm running Pages version 6.2 (4582) on a MacBook Pro. There's no checkbox in the help menu...the Help Menu DOES offer a way to "activate" the What's New screen, but no way to de-activate it. So it continues to show on launch for Pages, as it similarly does for Keynote and Numbers. Annoying, though in the scheme of things, I suppose it's not a major deal...

I think all you have to do is create a new document and save it. Try that.
