I only want to disable iMessage for one contact is that possible

No, I don't want to block this number and still want to receive texts, I just don't like the fact that if it shows delivered on this persons end it's a blow up my phone I know my message was delivered. I don't send read receipts I would just prefer that this particular person not have a blue bubble. It a green one without disabling iMessage for all co facts. Does that make sense? I see under individual contact info you can turn read receipts on and off for a particular contact but not where you can turn off iMessage for one contect
