I've a MacBookPro11,3 with a broken retina display and I'd like to change it.
I've found a refurbished screen model MC975/MC976 but my part number is MGXC2xx/A.
Would this screen work on my laptop too? Would it be any different from the original model?

I found the screen on eBay and the guy seems really reliable.
Only thing he wrote LCD A1398 but model MC975 MC976 which sounds not fitting with what Apple says, but on the other side those screen where in use just 1 year before my laptop was out, so maybe it still works.
I'd like to avoid Apple as their refurbished products are as expensive as new ones almost!
This guy sells the screen for 70$ which is a deal!

That is the order number for a Mid 2012 15" MBP with Retina display.
If your model identifier is 11,3, and order number is MGXC2xx/A, you have a Mid 2014 15" MBP with Retina display.
The MC975/MC976 display will only fit Mid 2012 and Early 2013 MacBook Pro 15" Retina (Mid 2012/Early 2013) Display Assembly (661-6529, 661-7171) A-Stock - iFixit
Your display needs to come from your order number (MGXC2xx/A) or a Late 2013 (ME293 or ME294 or ME874) MacBook Pro 15" Retina (Late 2013/Mid 2014) Display Assembly (661-8310) A-Stock - iFixit.
You'll just have to keep looking and hope you get lucky. Also look for "junk" whole machines.
Just to make sure you're looking for the right one, you said "but my part number is MGXC2xx/A." Where did you get that "part number?" That shows up as an order number for a Mid 2014 15" MBP....
In any case, both the Lat 2013 and Mid 2014 should work.

I'll keep looking around - I'll search for MGXC2xx or ME294xx then!
I think it can't work. You'd better find the service provider who offers lower charge to replace display.
Genius Bar and Apple Authorized Service Provider charge you a quite expensive, I suppose.
