Fifteen-minute intervals on daily calendar?? Possible???

Hey --

I'm new to iCal and can't seem to get the daily calendar to allow me to do entries with fifteen-minute divisions.... everything is on the half-hour, which doesn't work for me.

Can I change the intervals??

Thanks!

Thanks for your reply. I'm afraid I didn't word my question very well, though. I'm wanting to change the listing of the times that run down that left margin of the daily calendar (always there, independent of my entries). The set-up is elegant as usual, per Apple, but I'd like to see the quarter-hour increments within that pre-formatted column. Does that make sense?

Since entries to the daily calendar don't show the exact time of the event on the graphic part of the calendar (but only in the info window off to the side), I'd like to be able to tell very clearly at a quick glance that the event is at 8:15 v. 8:30, for instance. Graphically, it's just not that obvious to me, that's why I'd like to add the quarter-hour markers down that left pre-formatted margin.

Maybe I'm just asking too much or need to get used to the calendar, and then the quarter-hour v. half-hour timings won't be as ambiguous? Thanks.

Todd,

I am not sure why you are unable to accomplish your goal.

If I select "Day" the intervals that are displayed are 30 minutes, but I can set or drag the event at 15 minute intervals. If you are unable to drag the event you can enter any interval you desire in the from/to field of the Info window.

Try this:
1. Click on "Day."

2. Double click on a 15 minute interval start line in the middle of the window to create an event.

3. Drag the bottom of the event to a 15 minute interval end time.

What happens when you try those steps.
