Activation Required came up on my 1phone 5 and I cant unlock it

By using your original AppleID. If you are the second owner you will need to ask the original owner to remove his/her ID details. You cannot activate the phone otherwise. It is a security element to protect against theft.

You likely mean Activation Lock as your iPhone is probably previously owned. You must contact the previous owner to unlock the iPhone, or it will remain useless to you.

That is the phrase I was responding to. I assume you had some old Apple ID and password 3 years ago, and you recently changed either the ID or password. That is why I sent the article about what to do after changing one or the other.

They need to turn off find my iPhone Then remove the iPhone from there list

If they can,t do that Get your money back.
