speed control not working in imovie for imac HELP
I have tried everything from reloading imovie to all the fixes I found online and I still can't get the speed control feature in imovie to work on my imac desktop. HELP!

You invoke the speed editor by selecting the video clip(not a photo) and in the tool bar click on the clock face icon. This will bring up a menu to choose what speed change you want either fast, slow, custom which you can adjust. You can also right click on a clip and choose show speed editor and then adjust the speed with the control that appears at the top of the clip. Does this work for you or are you saying you do this and nothing changes on the clip. If that is the case try opening iMovie holding down the command and option keys and delete preferences. Then reopen your library and test.
