Is Macbook Pro 13 (non-touchbar) 2017 sufficient for Graphics Design and Light Video Editing?
Hi,
I am a full time graphics/web designer and create 1080p videos for Youtube gaming channels on the side using FCP. I was wondering if the baseline Macbook Pro 13 (non-touchbar) 2017 is powerful enough to handle software like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Muse without a hiccup. I mostly do website designing with occasional graphics work for my employer, so I need a fuss free smooth performance and I am not sure if the baseline MBP 13 2017 can handle that. I will be using it connected with my Dell Ultrasharp 21.5 monitor for the majority of time. I've been told that the 4k 21.5 iMac is also a great bang for the buck but the portability factor is important to me. Plus I can't extend my budget anymore than $1299. It'd be really helpful If you could provide me links to some benchmarks that could help me take a decision. Thanks.
iMac, OS X El Capitan (10.11.6)
