EndNote plug-in v3.0 for Pages v6.2 won't format

I upgraded Pages to v6.2, and installed the EndNote plug-in v3.0 as directed by Apple support. The in text citations will not format as they should, regardless of setting style parameters etc. The same holds true for EndNote 7 and 8. My PhD is at a crucial stage and I need this to work. Can anyone help?

Problem started early June with the release of 6.2 and 3.0 plugin. Endnote refuses to help and put the blame on Apple (partially justified since Apple prevent access to some important OS function, bad move from Apple since it also prevents to easily insert multiple citations like it can be done in Word). Apple needs to fix the plugin and until they do the only solution is to use Word instead. I know that it is a pain to convert and re-insert all the citations again. I was lucky that the problem arose as I started writing a new paper and the move to Word was easy for me. We need people to submit a bug report to Apple to have a chance to get this fixed this year: https://www.apple.com/feedback/pages.html

Hi lizziefromwotton,

I understand that you’re having issues with the formatting of your citations using the EndNote plug-in for Pages. I’d like to provide you with a resource that I believe will be helpful in resolving your issue.

An update was recently released for the EndNote plug-in. Please use this link to download and install the latest version of the EndNote plug-in:

Take care.

Hi thanks for your reply. I spent a long time on the phone with Apple Support who acknowledged the problem exists and submitted a report. However, they say the onus is on EndNote to fix the plugin, not Apple! Also, it is interesting that on the EndNote site, they only claim compatibility with pages up to version 5.6. Moving to Word would be a major deal for me at this stage of my PhD, so....I have gone back to Pages 5.6 until all my referencing is complete, then will switch to Pages 6.2 at the end for final formatting etc. But I'm not overjoyed about it!
