Does Razer's 3rd Party Software Perform Well Enough In Sierra?

For a while I've used a DAS mechanical keyboard with my MacBook Pro: no drivers, no downloads, plug & play with GREAT hardware. That said, I now need LED backlighting. DAS now makes such a product, just significantly more expensive than some comparable Razer mechanical keyboards. I used Razer circa Mavericks, but left it for DAS due to REALLY frustrating, mandatory Razer software for Mac.

Can anybody speak to recent iterations of Razer (at least when I used it "Synapse for Mac") software and it's overall performance/reliability?
