Bootcamp "The startup disk cannot be partitioned or restored to a single partition" error.

I can not get it into one partition, so I can install Windows Bootcamp again.

I just wanted to understand the reason behind the given error message - "The startup disk cannot be partitioned or restored to a single partition". I am getting the same error message too when I try clicking on the 'Continue' button in Bootcamp. However, I do not want to delete my Windows 10 Bootcamp partition.

hey loner T, I tried the solution of the problem given by you up there and ran the command in the terminal also. But still, I am not able to run the windows installer. Here is the reply from terminal :

Thanks very much for your contribution to this topic. I got the same error as others. I followed your solution to erase and merge the windows partitions. However, after done so, I still have the same "The startup disk cannot be partitioned or restored to a single partition" error when I try to restore my hard drive in bootcamp. My display is slightly different (OSXRESERVED). Can I use the same commands? The last thing I want to do is screw this up while on the road. I also never had BC installed on this machine. It failed during the initial install.

High Sierra has many issues with Bootcamp Assistant. 😉
