How to fix 4th Generation Shuffle buttons?

Hello! I have had my 4th Gen Shuffle for 4 years, and I'm sad because my volume and back buttons no longer work! :( The white part on those buttons fell off. Can anything be done, or is my Shuffle doomed? (Cue lightning)
