Somebody is repeatedly trying to reset my Apple ID password, is there anything I can do?

Hi,

I have been receiving repeated legit emails from Apple saying I have asked to reset my password (I have not). I have two-factor authentication enabled and I just changed my password for good measure, but I am worried as this is my corporate email and corporate Apple ID account. Is there anything else I can do or somebody I can notify at Apple about this?

iPhone 6, iOS 10.3.2

Ferd,

thank you for your reply. However, I do not think my account was compromised (yet). I just think somebody is trying to gain access to it, and I would like to see if there's anything else I can do to avoid that. I believe that two-factor is strong, but nothing is infallible.

If someone is trying to gain access, they must know at least your your primary Apple ID email address. If you do not think your account was compromised, and you are using TFA, you can live with the repeated attempts, or consider changing your Apple ID (if possible)...Change your Apple ID - Apple Support

When changing your password with 2FA, you provide your verified trusted phone number.

You then see this dialog. No email is sent to you.

Email is not secure enough when you use 2FA. Only a trusted device or phone number (via SMS) is used.

Why do you believe this to be true?

These sound like phishing attempts and can be ignored.
