Apple Watch 8-digit passcode question??
WHY MY APPLE WATCH CAN'T RE-SET 8-DIGIT PASSCODE TO 4-DIGIT ONE? THIS LOUSY DESIGN VERY VERY INCONVENIENT AND ANNOYED. LOUSY OVER-DESIGNED

To change the length of the passcode on your Apple Watch to four digits:
On your iPhone, in the Watch app, go to: My Watch (tab) > Passcode > turn on the option for Simple Passcode.
If that option is not available to you, then passcode restrictions are likely enforced on your iPhone (via a corporate configuration profile, mobile device management or Exchange policy). Where passcode restrictions are set on a managed iPhone, they also affect Apple Watch.
If your iPhone is managed in this way, contact your device administrator for further information and help.
