how to add a new printer to imac

I'm trying to add a new Epson printer (WF-3720) to my iMac OS Sierra 10.12.5 using WI-FI - I've downloaded the latest drivers from Epson, I can find them on the pc, but there seems to be no connection between the pc and the printer. It's been ages since I last did a printer addition and no solution comes to mind....
