Syncing lyrics to iPhone7 plus - Waiting for items to copy

I tried to sync my iPhone to my iMac but it remains stuck in step 6 of 6 syncing lyrics to iPhone waiting for items to copy. I understand with iOS 10, iTunes 12.5, and tvOS 10, you can read lyrics while listening to songs in the Music app or in iTunes. How do I solve this?

iPhone 7 Plus, iOS 10.3.2

I see that when trying to sync your iPhone to your iMac it remains stuck in step 6 of 6 "syncing lyrics to iPhone waiting for items to copy." It's important to make sure that you can view lyrics on your devices so I'll be happy to help assist you with this.

It can take some time to complete step 6 to sync the lyrics. If it never completes, you can try quitting iTunes and then checking to see if it's complete. For help viewing the lyrics, please see: View lyrics in Apple Music .
