How to completely reset an app downloaded off a browser?

I have recently downloaded an app/game off a browser and I have changed the resolution so much that the game renders useless. I have deleted it completely and downloaded it again but it did not reset the settings. Is there any way to reset such a thing???

MacBook (Retina, 12-inch, Early 2015), macOS Sierra (10.12.5)

Try going to the developer's website to see if there are uninstall instructions. Based on what you posted, when you deleted the app/game, some of the associated files weren't deleted.

You can also see if you can find the file(s) using one of these programs. If you go Finder/View/Show Path Bar, it will show you where it is located.
