how to transfer contacts between iphone5 and iphone 6

I have recently purchased an iPhone 6 and wish to transfer the contacts from my old iPhone 5. How do I do this. Thank you.

Via backup: Transfer content from your previous iOS device to your new iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

or if you only want to transfer contacts, turn on Settings > [username] > iCloud > Contacts on the old phone to sync the contacts to iCloud and turn on the same setting on the new phone to sync them to it.

Hi,

If your contacts were synced to iCloud you simply need to sign in with your Apple ID on the new device.
