WHEN should you reset your mobile data statistics?

When should you reset your mobile data statistics? There is no proper answer to this question. It all depends on what you're using the statistics for. My educated guess is most folks never reset their statistics.

Personally, I know my cellular carrier billing period ends on the 14th of the month, so I reset the statistics monthly on that date. That way, I can keep track of how close I get to my monthly cellular data quota. But again, there is no right or wrong answer to when (if ever) to reset the statistics.

I used to reset mine at the beginning of my cellular billing cycle, but now since I have unlimited calling, texting, and data, I only tend to reset it if I am testing any issues I might have with app usage or trying to describe issues to a user here.

I always reset mine at the start of each new billing cycle (you can find this on your monthly carrier statement). In my particular case, the cycle is from the 17th of each month through the 16th of the following month.
