How can I see all my VIP contacts?

How can I see a list of all the Contacts I've marked as "VIP" in Apple Mail, either on Mac OS or iOS?

I've set up my Apple Watch so that notifications are forwarded to it only when the sender is marked "VIP". I want to review all the Contacts I've marked as "VIP", but I can't figure out how to do that.

I know that "VIP" is different from "Favorites". Looking in my "VIP" mail folder isn't sufficient, because I delete messages when I'm through with them.

Google searches have not yielded a good answer. What am I missing?
