File went from 85 MB to 547 MB!
I used iMovie to add some titles to an mp4 video and the file grew enormously. Why? How can I stop it doing this?
MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Early 2013), OS X Yosemite (10.10.5)
The size of the shared movie depends on the Resolution, Quality and Compress settings you selected when you shared it to file. The expected file size is shown:
Note that the imported video may be more highly compressed than iMovie can perform so some increase in file size may be unavoidable.
