Can someone remotely have access to my phone without me knowing

IPhone 6s on account with other family members. Can someone have access to my messages, pics, etc without me knowing? If so is there a way I can discreetly find out?

iPhone 6s, iOS 10.3.2

They can not access your phone, but if they have the credentials for you iCloud account, they could access anything stored in or synced to iCloud, including iMessages, photos, etc.

Change your password and set up 2 factor authentication if you suspect someone may have your credentials.

If you are sharing an Apple ID with other people, then yes they can see your messages. Its almost a certainty they will be getting them on their devices.

They would only be able to see your pics if you have enabled iCloud Photo Library or Photostream.

There's no way to find out other than looking at their devices.

Apple IDs should not be shared.
