laptop won't recognise iphone 6

iPhone 6 is disabled - says connect to iTunes - iTunes isn't recognising phone?

The phone was on my iTunes and it has disappeared without any action from me. The reason the phone has disabled is because it is not recognising my unlock PIN number??? one minute it was fine, the next it said I had incorrect number and it definitely wasn't as it is a birth date. Help!!!
