Adding data to Apple health app question

Hi. I'm trying to add manual lab results to My Apple health app but can't see how. I can't see any 'add' button in the health data fields. I want to add basic lab data like cholesterol, Vit D, haemoglobin etc, basic results that come back to my GP following a blood test. Can I do this or do I have to find apps that record these and then have that data 'imported' somehow into the health app. Any help appreciated.

Hi and thanks for replies. I had already checked the link you suggested but couldn't see an answer there. My data is just a printout rather than a file so I can't import. I want to create a health 'field' or similar that says 'Vit D', 'cholesterol' etc and then add my data and figures there. I just can't see any option to do this. Under' Vitals' eg in the app there is respiration and temperature but nothing else and no option to add anything else. Same under 'health data' results. Big **** but no option to add different ones.

I'm sure I'm missing something and that this can't be as hard as it seems. Thanks again for help.
