Please tell me how to uninstall Remote Desktop for client

I was advised by my Mac tech after a clean install to avoid downloading Remote Desktop after suspicious behaviors. The Mac downloaded it anyway, and now I want to remove it.

MacBook Pro, macOS Sierra (10.12)

You probably need to find a more competent "mac tech."

Remote Desktop client is part of the operating system, so it's already installed. The only thing that you can avoid downloading are its occasional software updates, and, depending upon the content of the update, that could theoretically cause you to have a security problem. (But probably not. Most client updates have to do with fixing bugs which keep ARD servers out, or adding support for features added in the server software. Which you don't have, unless you paid for it.)

As Cathy already told you ARD is a default Mac OS application. It does nothing without ARD Admin and therefore does not need to be uninstalled. I haven't seen ARD implicated in any suspicious behavior.

If you still insist on uninstalling it, it is located in /System/Library/CoreServices/RemoteManagement/ARDAgent, but I would advise against it.

As others have stated.... be skeptical about this.

Disable both remote management and screen sharing in System Preferences > Sharing on your Mac, check your macOS firewall (System Preferences > Security > Firewall, and also check your local network firewall settings. Your network firewall — whatever gateway device or box or router is used to access your ISP network — should already be configured to filter external screen sharing traffic, as well. If the network firewall box is not filtering this and other traffic, that'll want to be reviewed and quite possibly changed.

Deleting random parts of the operating system doesn't always have the desired results long-term, and — best case, here assuming that macOS or some other app doesn't fail secondary to the deletion of a macOS component — you can need to repeat this deletion whenever the macOS components are patched or updated.

Many of the macOS components cannot be deleted on current releases, due to the Apple system integrity protection. You'll have to disable that feature of macOS, before modifying or deleting any protected components.

The integrated screen sharing client is only one of various ways that macOS systems can be accessed remotely for screen sharing, as well. Web-based remote management tools are also available and used for this purpose; Cisco WebEx, for instance.
