having a problem with Safari showing pop-ups even though it's enabled.

Recently whenever there is a pop-up menu, it does not show up. Sometimes it's a blank page, sometimes nothing at all happens. In either case I can't use Safari and have to use Firefox instead to access the webpage. Just to clear things up, in Preferences the Security "block pop-up windows" is not checked and I've enabled Java Script.

There are other posts that deal with this in the Communities but none are answered or they've been locked. What's up Apple?

Clarification question - is the problem that you are getting unwanted pop-ups or that pop-ups you want to see aren't showing up/aren't showing up correctly?

Try going to Safari/Preferences/Extensions and disable all extensions. Quit Safari, reopen, and see if the pop-up will now load. If so, enable extensions one or two at a time until you find which extension is causing the problem.
