Converting an alias folder to a regular folder
2 years ago I converted 20 folders to aliases.
Now I would like to convert these alias folders to standard folders.
Is there a way to convert each alias to a standard file.

No, an alias is only a pointer to the original file. If you still have the original you can Duplicate it, if that I what you want to do. But an alias cannot be made into a standard folder.
No, it is just a pointer to a real file or folder.

As the others have said… nope.

I said, "No".
I was paraphrasing, taking poetic license etc. 😁
Only manually...
Right-click on the alias, select Show Original, move the original folder to where the alias is located, delete the alias.
Technically that's not converting an alias, that's replacing it. Just saying. 😎
Yes, that's why I had a preamble stating it's a manual process :-/
I appreciate your comments. I didn’t think there was a way to do what I wanted.
I want to move the parent folder to another external hard drive. But when I try this all the aliases are broken.
You could create new aliases after you move the folder.
Then you've lost the original. If you are using Time Machine you may be able to retrieve it.
