Hey everyone, I've been trying to import colour effect presets onto Final Cut Pro X, which I've downloaded off the internet, and only one or two of them work where as the others come up with the red alert sign. I've looked on virtually every website to try and figure out what's going wrong yet I haven't been able to get them to work yet. Thank you!!

Yeah I've pasted them into the effects preset folder in motion templates but it still only comes up with that. In the screenshot it's just some of the ones I've wanted to use and only one out of them all work.
So they're now in the effect presets folder in ProApps but the same thing is still happening with certain effects. The effects I downloaded are off links from youtube accounts and some of them have instructions, which I followed, where as the majority of them don't. Thank you!
THOSE aren’t color presets, which are different things. Those are effects. They need to be installed in the Motion Templates/Effects folder in the Movies folder. Is that what you did? Post screenshots of the folder content.
Those are effects presets. They don't go into the Motion Templates folder as I said. Would be helpful if you showed the folder structure in column view rather than icons so I could tell where you are. These should be in home/Library/Application Support/ProApps/Effects Presets. They should not be inside any folders in there. The other folders you show don't belong in there I don't think. I don't know what's in them.
Where did you get these? Don't them come with any instructions?
Which ones don’t work? You need to contact whoever provided them.
