Nan:Nan error on video playback

I lost the ability to scroll through videos on Youtube. The time bar shows the nan;nan msg and I cannot forward or rewind. Other videos, for example, my local news channel won't load at all.

I booted in safe mode, The screen flashed, flickered, appeared and disappeared. I cleaned cache and cookies.

I created a ''test user'' account. HTML5 is being used if possible. Same problem.

any thoughts?
